Revenue Coordinator Meeting and Events
The Revenue Team is key to our business as they are often the first point of contact many of our guests have with the Bull Hotel. As a Meeting & Events Coordinator you will provide our guests with a personal reservations service for all types of meetings and events, large and small including Weddings. As part of the team you will work both re-actively and proactively to sell the hotel and its facilities to potential guests. We believe it is the people we employ that make the difference to the experience of our guests, and that is why we are looking for someone who is ready to go above and beyond in everything they do.
What will I be doing as a Revenue Coordinator Meeting & Events?
Meeting potential clients and assisting them with initial enquiries including hosting a show round of the hotel areas
Ensure that Weddings are looked after from initial booking up to and including the Wedding day itself
Ensuring the smooth running of Meeting and Events bookings, from initial enquiry through to final accounting, providing a consistent first class standard of service to all customers.
Actively promoting all hotel outlets maximising revenue through effective sales techniques and conversion of enquiries.
Communicating all clients’ needs throughout the hotel through the publishing of weekly function sheets and amendments as appropriate
Ensuring the highest quality and standards are maintained in all of the information and printed material issued.
Learning and building your knowledge on all the hotel’s products and services
Attending familiarisation trips, sales events and wedding show rounds as required
As a Revenue Coordinator Meeting & Events you will have…
A passion for working with People in Reservations or Events co-ordination.
Experience within Hospitality in the corporate hotel/conference market including Weddings
Fantastic planning skills
The confidence and ability to proactively up sell to clients to increase revenue for the hotel
The ability to be self motivated and work on one’s own initiative but also be a good team member
Excellent written and spoken communication skills with an eye for detail
Good time management and administrative skills
Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills with a professional manner
Full flexible with working hours to adapt to the needs of the business in a busy hotel
