Windsor Castle

Visitors can walk around the State Apartments’ extensive suite of rooms at the heart of the working palace.  For part of the year visitors can also see the Semi State rooms, which are some of the most stunning interiors in the castle.  They are furnished with treasures from the Royal Collection including paintings by Rubens, Holbein, Van Dyck and Lawrence, fine tapestries and porcelain, armour and sculpture. Windsor Castle, the largest and oldest occupied castle in the world, is one of the official residences of Her Majesty The Queen. The Castle’s dramatic site encapsulates 900 years of British history. It covers an area of 26 acres and contains, as well as a royal palace, a magnificent chapel and the homes and workplaces of a large number of people.

Kew Gardens

Kew Royal Botanical Gardens London is host to one of the largest collections of plants from around the world.  Victorian green houses stand crammed full of luxuriant tropical growth, recreating the environment of plants from every habitat, desert, swamp and rainforest.  Even in the middle of winter the gardens and the greenhouses hold a splendid display for all tastes. Tickets include entry to all buildings and attractions within the Gardens, except Kew Palace. The separate admission charge for Kew Palace is indicated below.

How to Find Kew Gardens

Kew Gardens is 10 miles from central London and adjacent to the river Thames.
Royal Botanic Gardens, is located at Kew, Richmond, Surrey, TW9 3AB.  We encourage you to visit Kew Gardens via public transport both for environmental reasons and because it is usually more convenient as we have limited parking.

Welcome to the most compelling tree-top experience in the UK. Kew’s Rhizotron and Xstrata Treetop Walkway takes you under the ground and then 18 metres (59ft) up in the air, bringing you close to trees in a way that will take your breath away.
