I was more than impressed by my stay at The Bull on 20th April. Regrettably at 7am on Sunday, 21st morning I was suddenly awoken from a deep sleep at 7am by a continuous beeping sound. I reported this to reception at 7.15 as it was an annoying disturbance and within minutes Renata, Deputy Manager, visited me. She investigated the source of the noise which was coming from a space above the lift next to my room (no. 218). Renata apologised unreservedly for the inconvenience and offered to move me to another room. A generous gesture but was pointless moving at that time of the morning although I could have done with a couple more hours of sleep due to a late night as it was my niece’s wedding on the Saturday. Between Renata and myself we negotiated a reimbursement of £40. I was very satisfied by the efficiency and professionalism of Renata and she definitely has what it takes to appease her customers. I would also like to offer my thanks for the excellent unstinting service and attention provided at the wedding of Charmaine & Neil Miller. The entire staff that evening went the extra mile to ensure all went well. Please encourage your dedicated staff to keep up the good work. I look forward to returning to The Bull someday. We attended an event which included a 3 course meal and the food was very good. In the evening a party of 19 of us sat in the bar area and the staff were so helpful in getting tables set up for us and throughout the evening serving food and drinks. At breakfast the next morning the staff once again were so accommodating to our parties needs. The hotel and accommodation was clean and fresh. Overall and excellent experience and a venue I would highly recommend. Excellent staff. So accommodating to our party of 19’s needs

We stayed for a friends wedding and couldn’t fault our room. The wedding was also brilliant however we was meant to have breakfast with the bride but there wasn’t enough room for about half of the guests staying to have breakfast.

Stayed a few times and always an excellent stay and customer service. Had a problem but has been sorted quickly by them. A bit small but that was because brilliant man on reception told us the one booked would be noisy because of a wedding so he moved us. He did explain it was smaller but no problem with that.

Lovely venue and helpful staff but way too hot in all areas so much so that we barely slept as the room was so hot Too hot

The Bull is a brilliant hotel. Customer service was spot on and super helpful and practical. Stayed here night before my wedding and it couldn’t have been more easy and relaxed.
