Marlow May Fayre 2014
The Bull Hotel is ideally located within easy reach of many towns and attractions in Buckinghamshire. One such local lively town is Marlow, situated on the banks of the River Thames. With a wide variety of outlets, Marlow offers something different for everyone and, who knows, you may even spot one of the locals: Michelin star chef Heston Blumenthal, quintuple Olympic gold medallist rower Steve Redgrave or even a famous singer by the name of Robbie Williams who lives nearby.

Marlow is also the host of the 41st May Fayre that takes place on Saturday 17th May in Higginson Park. Organised by Marlow & District Round Table (http://www.marlow.roundtable.co.uk/), this annual family event raises money for local charities and community groups, and has a wide variety of stalls, games, live music, dance performances and a real ale tent. At 3.30pm hundreds of ducks will be released for the famous Marlow Fayre Duck Race where some fantastic prizes are on offer for the winning ducks. For car enthusiasts there will be a Vintage Car Rally and for historical enthusiasts there will be re-enacted battle scenes with crowd interaction by the Wychwood Warriors (a Viking re-enactment group which proved very popular last year).
